Hoy quiero compartir estos tres dibujos que surgieron de una tarde de inspiración pura. Los hice primero con lápiz mina y luego los delineé con marcador negro Sakura 0,5, sobre papel bond de 80 g, tamaño A5.
Mientras trazaba cada línea, sentí una conexión profunda, casi como si hubiera sido arquitecta en otra vida. Recordé un viaje que hice a Egipto en 2013, donde conocí la historia de Imhotep, considerado el primer arquitecto de la historia, creador de la majestuosa Pirámide Escalonada de Djoser en Saqqara, la más antigua conocida en Egipto. Su legado y visión quedaron resonando en mí, inspirándome a construir, al menos con tinta, estructuras que habiten la imaginación.
Fue una experiencia intensa, como si mi mano recordara la pasión de diseñar formas y espacios, aunque sé racionalmente que no soy aquella persona. Aun así, honro su figura y su memoria, como pionero que supo transformar la piedra en un mensaje eterno.
Estos dibujos me devolvieron una sensación de calma, de presencia, de alegría. Cada línea me permitió habitar un espacio de creación auténtica, donde la imaginación reconstruye ciudades, puentes y torres que podrían surgir de cualquier sueño.

🏙️ Drawing Cities, Bridges, and Dreams: Art as a Connection
Today I want to share these three drawings that emerged from an afternoon of pure inspiration. I first sketched them in pencil and then outlined them with a Sakura 0.5 black marker on 80 g bond paper, A5 size.
While tracing each line, I felt a deep connection, almost as if I had been an architect in another life. I remembered a trip I took to Egypt in 2013, where I learned about Imhotep, considered the first architect in history and the creator of the magnificent Step Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara, the oldest known pyramid in Egypt. His legacy and vision resonated within me, inspiring me to build — at least in ink — structures that inhabit the imagination.
It was an intense experience, as if my hand remembered the passion for designing shapes and spaces, even though I know rationally I am not that person. Still, I honor his figure and memory, as a pioneer who managed to transform stone into an eternal message.
These drawings brought me a sense of calm, presence, and joy. Each line allowed me to inhabit a space of authentic creation, where the imagination rebuilds cities, bridges, and towers that could arise from any dream.
